As part of the Arrow programme, we gained access to expertise from Northumbria University. We required support in selection of the optimal fluid chemistry, for the right balance of electrical safety, corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity. The full video in the link:

The project resulted in the creation of a “matrix”, listing commercially available fluids, and a blueprint for the selection of optimal blend. The internal fluid fill allows the battery pack to run safer, at higher charge / discharge rates, and for longer. We couldn’t have completed this work without the external support, many thanks go to our project partners Northumbria University and the Arrow Programme!
