Our Subsea A-Flux 300-2 [patent pending] is the most powerful subsea motor/generator available. Using the “Axial Flux” principle, and built on the Turntide / EVO platform, the machine is 3x lighter than its rivals. This unit will power subsea and marine equipment, including:

• Propulsion systems for submersibles (ROV)
• Propulsion systems for surface craft (speed boats)
• Subsea production systems (pumps / compressors)
• Renewable power generation (hydro turbines)
• Lifting / handling applications (winches)

 

Development

The machine is part way through an Innovate UK part-funded prototype build and test programme. Supported by North Tyneside Council and ORE Catapult, we will commence testing Q1 2022 with commercial products available Q2 2022. Register your interest at info@walkersubsea.com
