Qualifications / Skills Needed
You will design structures and machines which can meet challenging specifications. The equipment may be on land, on ship or below sea. In each instance – the finished product will comply with the most stringent design codes. You will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from UK Engineering Council accredited institution
- Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership
- Valid UK work permit
Experience Required
You have proven yourself in a professional setting, working as part of a team to demonstrate practical ability based on academic knowledge. Types of experience sought:
- Preparation of 2D and 3D CAD Models for parts and assemblies.
- Preparation of fabrication and machining specifications.
- Ability to solve static & dynamic mechanics problems
- Strong understanding of engineering materials
